[4-21-24] Hopefully a short Hiatus

Neocities

Let me be clear, I don't think Neocities is a bad website, Infact it's something I will continue to suggest to people who wants to get into Web Building. But, Neocities is starting to become not my site, Especially if paying for Premium and the features does not work as it should makes it really difficult to continue to host this site on Neocities. Sure, You can say "Well, It works fine now", The issue is the fact that I pasted my URL to various places under my Domain name, which causes people to now go to that landing page for the parked URL instead. That's something I do NOT want, as that could be someone's first impression and later they're like "Well the last time I went there, It landed to a parked domain page :/". It's just, One of those things that gets to my head a lot because I have dealt with those types before and it's frustrating to me. Anyways, I do have some offers for static site hosting, and it's something I may consider if it's easy to be able to upload the new updated files to the server. I did recently try out geocities.ws but with their free portion was not working well with how I laid out my website and that the premium versions actually redirected me to some other site that offered what I wanted for an even bigger premium and that I wanted to avoid that. I also tried to use my Raspberry Pi to be used as a webserver, But I heard horror stories of the SD card burning out and all that when hosting for long periods of time. So for now, I think the better option is to get the help from a friend and that I hope that I'm able to update next week. I also won't be doing art in the meantime because I want to post it to my website first before anywhere else, If I made art now I will forget later and it would not be archived for a long while. I'm a person of wanting consistancy.

Insurance Money Update

This week I will 100% get my money one way or another, I should be getting my check in the mail and if not I can just go to the Insurance place to get my check from there and I can deposit it into my bank from my phone which is actually kinda easy to do. And of course the other option to have it deposited directly to my bank account from my Debit card. I'm just so tired and want to get the money stat so I can be in a better position and being able to change the tires on my car and all that.

Anyways, I think that's it for now. Until then, I will return soon... Hopefully.
