[7-28-24] Some upcoming things!

Welcome back to another blog post from yours truly, It's been a very busy time with work.

Webcomic

So for the first piece, The Webcomic! Now, I technically have part of the Webcomic on my Website but it's currently private. I have been going out of my way to basically make a pilot of what I have so far and share with my friends to see how they feel about it. Though I will not release it just yet. Currently, I'm in the process of basically make stick figures with Dialog to go along with it. Though when I do release it to the public, It's gonna be a fully background and colored. I do not have a planned release date so far as It really depends on how much I can work and the motivation that follows with working on it. But, This first thing Is gonna be a Pilot, After that I will be starting the ACTUAL webcomic itself. I am looking for feedback once it's finished.

Domain and Email hosting shit

Sigh... So for many years, since 2018 I have been using my very own Email with my original Domain. Now the service I was using gave us an Email address completely for free and it was also kinda cheap service. If I recall, I was paying like... 13$ per year? And like, It wasn't a bad deal. Jump Forward last year, They're starting to actually charge money for the Email now, Which costs me about like 50$ or something for email Yearly or 75$~ for both a Domain and Email renewall. Keep in mind, I basically have 2 Domains to juggle. One is currently being used for important stuff like Insurance, Work, bills, etc. The other is related more for contacting me via email (webmaster@anonicus.net). It's now costing me a whopping 25$ per year and rising to actually use the service provider for my Domains. Which means... It's costing me a whole 150$ per year to keep both services fully going on. SO! Next weekend, I will be trying to transfer my domain over and fix everything. Not only that but I was shown a service in which I can host both of my emails to for 30$ every 3 years which is a whole lot better than what I am dealing with. So there's gonna be som maintenence regarding that.

My next steps for this site

I'm well aware that I really NEED to work on my characters, Especially since I only have Rango and have no other characters done yet, I have ref sheets for Axel and Lumia but even then, With Lumia I will need to rework it with a slight new design refresh. I need to take a moment and breathe when I get back around to it all, I really need to schedule myself rather than just being in a locked position constantly fretting over work being the next day. Anyways, Besides that... I've honestly considered making a Forums for this Website. Like, a place to chill and talk but also have discussions related to the Site and Webcomic as well. I think this would be a great way to connect with people and even make friends with people who come around this site and see what I've been doing.

Wooooork

Yeah, I'm about 2 months into this job now, starting in early August. Of course there was actually a time I was off for 2 weeks (AND FUCKING PROCRASTINATED THE ENTIRE TIME I REALLY HATE MYSELF FOR THAT)... But, It's great that I'm working again. I'm hoping that I can start on Morning shifts again as the current schedule is fucking HELL. Though, I'm going to try to do things to try and mitigate myself from waking up and hour before I leave and spend time during the night working on stuff. It's all about making new Habits, That's it with me. But in general, I'm getting back on my feet is great and that It's been helping me lose weight especially drinking a fuck ton of water and like I'm not actually spending too much money either. I believe once I get to morning shifts again, I can actually do more stuff like Art and all that. It's kind of the reason why I have been lacking art since I got the Job. Welp, Time to try and get it all back again.
